Nau mai, haere mai!

Welcome to the Wellington Young Lawyers' Committee

The YLC is a committee of the Wellington Branch of the New Zealand Law Society, acting as the voice of young lawyers on the Branch Council.

We aim to promote collegiality amongst young lawyers. We run a variety of events across the year, from seminars to wine tours, comps and quiz nights, there's something for everyone to get involved in.

We can't wait to see you at our next event!

Meet the Committee

Co-Convenor // Finance

Kia ora! I'm Espoir. I am one of the co-convenors this year, and also hold the finance portfolio.

I have recently moved to Gibson Sheat in Wellington, working in the Commercial team. I have previously worked in general practice based in Lower Hutt. I am particularly interested in building our outreach programme and making sure we are accessible to all young lawyers in our constituency.

I look forward to meeting you all this year at our events.
