Tikanga Māori Session
On 5 May 2021 the YLC hosted a seminar on Tikanga Māori and the law. Dr Carwyn Jones explained the sources of tikanga, the principles of tikanga and the role tikanga plays as a source of law.
Outreach Breakfast
On 7 May 2021 the YLC hosted a breakfast for young lawyers in Wairarapa.
The Wellington YLC extends throughout the greater Wellington region. We will be hosting more outreach events throughout the year so keep a look out!
Students v Young Lawyers Netball Game
On 14 May 2021 the YLC (red) played against VUWLSS (blue). It was a close game but in the end we managed to take the win.
